Isabel was conceived by her mother in Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family is from Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. With their sister Nina they attended schools with kids of all races and different cultures. Isabel resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. When she graduated from Queensland Institute of Technology (QUT), she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts. She also completed a recent course on the Perdekamp emotional approach. The actress never had auditions for part until spotted through her agency in the year 2002. Isabel played her debut TV role for three years. For her performance, she won a Logie Award. Isabel was able to move her home to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough role came with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. Since then, Isabel was in many US and Australian film and television productions. She's also won several Awards. Since 2010, she's the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel is well-known for her eco-conscious ethical interests as well as her commitment to social injustice. She became a brand ambassador for numerous campaigns for cosmetics and fashion.
